The free application OpenTeacher is here to help you learn. The application will help you with your vocabulary, it will help you with geography or topography, and it will help you with your typing skills. You can set up words lessons, media lessons, topography lessons, and you can easily get started with a handy typing tutor. So if you have problems learning or if you want to learn more efficiently, let OpenTeacher help you out.

OpenTeacher is available for multiple platforms; and to be more precise, it is available for Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and Linux. Focusing on Windows alone, it must be said that setting OpenTeacher up is a very straightforward matter. Just download and run an executable, then follow the instructions presented to you by a setup wizard.

The interface is made up of three sections. In the upper left hand side you have buttons for creating a new lesson: Create words lesson, Create topography lesson, Create media lesson, Typing Tutor. Underneath there are options for loading an existing lesson: Open from file, Import from WRDS, Import from flashcardexchange.com, and more. And to the right there’s a panel that displays the lessons you recently opened.

Using OpenTeacher is a simple matter. First, set up a lesson – you can create a new lesson, you can import a lesson, or you can load a lesson you previously created. Once you have your lesson, let OpenTeacher put your knowledge to the test. You can even make learning a fun game – when learning new vocabulary, you can play hangman.

As it is released under a GNU GPL license, OpenTeacher is a free application.

Learn more efficiently by using the free cross-platform application OpenTeacher.
